This is for all you piano players out there! Your job for this week is to master 10 Yiruma songs of various levels. You have seven days to practice and play the pieces fluently. Send a video tape to the address you normally send for your Challenges of the Day and show your performance and everyone who manages to accomplish this will win a greater surprise in their mailbox! Note, you may not play the songs you have selected for previous Challenges of the Day. Now warm up your fingers and get playing!

Challenges of the Day #2

Hey everyone! Well here's your first challenge of the day. As I mentioned before, you have an option of choosing any one of these 3 challenges and submit them before the end of today. Today's challenges are a little bit harder and a bit more rigorous for piano players out there. Here are the three challenges you can choose from:

1) Flawlessly play any three songs by Yiruma (except for "River Flows In You")
2) Master 3 choreographies of three different contemporary groups
3) Sing 3 korean songs of any genre by 3 different artists

Same as before, mail your accomplishments in by e-mail or just plain mail. And the earlier you submit your stuff, the better chance you will have in receiving prizes.

Anyways, if anything comes up, I'll let everyone know about it.

A Whole New Style of Music

Hey everyone. This is Jeff Lee and this is my blog. Here in K-pop central, there will be a lot to discuss about a new style of music, Korean music! There will be many things to do and feel free to comment on anything related to just music in general. You can explore new things in Korean music, watch some videos, and comment on some things.

Every day, there will be a little thing called "Challenges of the Day" which are few competitions and tests (I know that you don't like this since I don't either...) where you can take part in interactive events that will require a lot of exploration on the internet. Sometimes, you might be required to show off your talents in music. Anyways, Korean music is a whole new style of music that is currently spreading worldwide. So, if you are up for trying out new things, why not give this a try!

Anyways, this is Jeff Lee bringing you an introduction and a welcome to my blog!

Big Bang - Sunset Glow (붉은 노을)

Kim Jong Kook (김종국) - Today More Than Yesterday (어제보다 오늘 더)

Rain - Rainism
